The Schleswig City Run took place on May 12, 2019, and attracted numerous participants, including the Prime Minister of Schleswig-Holstein. The start was at the Königswiesen near Louisenbad, and the runners had to complete two laps of 5 km each. The course led through the picturesque town, past the cathedral and over the town hall square, before returning to the Königswiesen. The running route is flat and ideal for fast times.
